Certificates of Deposit (CD's)

Certificates of Deposit are term savings deposits that provide a great way to lock up higher rates of interest.  They are safe, secure and provide a guaranteed rate of return.

CD's from 1st Bank are also well suited as a way to fund contributions to Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's). A $500 minimum deposit is required, and variable terms are available beginning at three months.* 

Guaranteed interest rates change according to market conditions.  Consult your local 1st Bank branch for current details.

*Regulations require a penalty for early redemption of Certificates of Deposit. CD's with an initial term of one year or less require a one month interest penalty for early withdrawal. CD's with an initial term of one year or more require a three month interest penalty, See your 1st Bank representative for further information.
