1st Banc Names New Chief Financial Officer

East Liverpool, OH. -- Tri-State 1st Banc, Inc (NASDAQ "TSEO"), parent company of 1st National Community Bank, Gateminder Corporation and MDH Investment Management, Inc., announced the appointment of Jean B. Edwards as Chief Financial Officer of the company and its three subsidiaries. She began her duties effective December 4, 2007. Mrs. Edwards succeeds Stephen Beadnell as CFO. Mr. Beadnell will continue with the company in a part-time consulting capacity.
Mrs. Edwards is a graduate of Mount Union College where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting. She had worked as an Accountant for the City Auditor's Office in Warren, Ohio before starting her banking career with Perpetual Savings Bank, Wellsville in 1988. While at Perpetual, she held various positions, including Director of Development, Controller, Treasurer, Vice President/Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Her most recent position was Vice President and Branch Manager for Northern Hancock Bank & Trust Company in Chester, West Virginia.
A long time resident of Wellsville, she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family. Jean and her husband Kevin have two children, Hannah and Gabe.
